Carol DeKler

Carol Jean DeKler, 77, wife of the late Joseph M. DeKler and a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Friday, September 5, 2014 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. A native of North Bergen, NJ, she was the daughter of the late Charles Fuchs and the late Gertrude Cumiskey Fuchs. She was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church. She is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, Maureen Bochman and her husband, Ed, of Willis Wharf, VA, David Schultz and his wife, Brenda, of Cheriton, VA, Charlene Burgess of Roanoke, VA, Robert Orsinger of Cape Charles, VA, Charles Orsinger of Cheriton, Cynthia Gandolfo of Galloway, NJ, Sean Chanpignon of Jackson, NJ, Geraldine Fisher of Blackwood, NJ and numerous great nieces and great nephews. A funeral mass will be conducted Saturday, September 13, 2014 at 11:00 AM at St. Charles Catholic Church with Father J. Michael Breslin officiating. Interment will follow in Cape Charles Cemetery. A Christian Wake service will be held Friday, September 12, 2014 at 7:00 PM. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to St. Charles Catholic Church, 545 Randolph Avenue, Cape Charles, VA 23310.
