Carl W. Granz, Jr.

Mr. Carl William Granz, Jr., 80, husband Grace L.Granz for fifty-eight years and a resident of Melfa, Virginia passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2005 at Shore Memorial Hospital. Born in East Meadow, New York he was the son of the late Carl W. Granz and the late Theresa Buck Granz. He was a retired farmer and chicken grower. He was a member of B.P.O.E. Lodge # 1766, Exmore Moose Lodge # 683, and a member of Accomack County Farm Bureau where he served on the Board of Directors. Other than his wife he is survived by two children, Judy G. Killmon and her friend Norman Reasonover of Modest Town, Va., Carl W. Granz III and his wife Brenda of Bishopville, Md.; a sister, Doris G. Brown and her husband Charlie of Melfa, Va.; and a grandson, Daniel Killmon of Onancock, Va. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, November 20, 2005 at 2:00 PM from the Graveside of Belle Haven Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Smoot officiating.
