Brooks M. Bundick

Brooks M. Bundick, 91, husband of the late Juanita Shackelford Bundick and Anne Potts Bundick, passed away Friday, April 16, 2010 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital. He was a resident of Onancock and a former resident of Belle Haven. He was the son of the late Lenard C. and Annie Boole Bundick. Brooks was retired from Suburban Propane; he was a longtime member of the Belle Haven United Methodist Church, a gardener, an avid fisherman and collector of antiques. Survivors include two nieces he raised as daughters, Jane Shackelford Smith and her husband Rick of Linville, VA and Joanne Shackelford Maynard of Staunton, VA, a niece Thalia Bundick Shrieves of Painter, and two nephews; Carl H. Bundick of Painter and J. Len Bundick of Harborton. Mr. Bundick was predeceased by a son-in-law, Paul Maynard and a brother, Herman Lee Bundick. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 19, 2010 at 11:00 AM from the graveside of Belle Haven Cemetery with the Rev. Joe McKnight officiating.
