Billy James Parks

William James Parks, 75, a resident of Quinby, VA, passed away Saturday, May 9, 2020, at Vibra Healthcare in Richmond, VA. A native of Tangier, VA, he was the son of the late William Powell Parks and the late Zella Hall Wheatley Parks. Mr. Parks was a waterman.

He is survived by three children, John C. Parks and his wife, Herimida, of Quinby, Billy Charles Parks of Quinby, and Leslie Ames Parks of South Carolina; a brother, Chip Parks of Crisfield, MD; nine grandchildren; and one great granddaughter.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 13, 2020, at 11:00 AM at Exmore Baptist Church with Reverend Jonathan Carpenter officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Northampton Fire and Rescue Service, P.O. Box 833, Nassawadox, VA 23413.
