Bertha Mae Michael

Bertha Mae Glaxner Michael, 89, wife of the late Bernard S. Michael and a resident of Cape Charles, VA, passed away Monday, December 2, 2013 at her residence. A native of Cheriton, VA, she was the daughter of the late Michael John Glaxner and the late Eunice Crumb Glaxner. She was retired from the U.S. Department of Navy and was a member of Holmes Presbyterian Church. She is survived by two sisters-in-law, Betty M. Buell and Ellouise M. Gardner, both of Stone Mountain, GA and numerous nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Cape Charles Cemetery with Reverend Stanley Lin officiating. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
