Barbara T. Towar

Barbara T. Towar, 78, of Exmore, Virginia, formerly of New York, passed away Wednesday, August 8, 2007 from complications of multiple myeloma. Barbara was raised in Grosse Pointe, MI. A graduate of the University of Michigan, she moved to New York City and worked as an in-house and free-lance copy editor for several major publishers. She was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Barbara is survived by her life partner of 35 years, Lucille Stoffregen, and by several cousins.
