Barbara H. Cornelius

Barbara Hoopes Cornelius, 74, wife of Wayne T. Cornelius and a resident of Horntown, Va. died peacefully Tuesday April 18, 2006 at Heritage Hall Health Care in Nassawadox. A native of Wilmington DE, Barbara was the daughter of the late William and Susan Hoopes. She retired from the DuPont Company in 1993. Other than her husband, she is survived by two daughters; Josephine Baron and her husband David of Bear, DE. and Michele Riley and her husband John of Hockessin, DE, and grandchildren, Meghan Baron and John Riley, Jr. Mrs. Cornelius was predeceased by a son, Charles E. Jankowski. Funeral services and burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Barbara to Alzhemimers Association, South Eastern Virginia Chapter, 6315 N.
