Barbara Ann Colonna

Barbara Ann Colonna, 67, wife of Richard C. Colonna and a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at her residence. A native of Onley, VA, she was the daughter of the late Robert Howard Baumgardner and the late Frances Chester Baumgardner. She was retired from Gregg Harriett Shirt Factory and a member of Exmore Baptist Church.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by a sister, Pam Taylor and her husband, John, of Onley; four brothers, Eddie Baldwin and his companion, Florence Linton, of Onancock, VA, Joe Baumgardner and his wife, Marie, of Burdett, NY, Leroy Baumgardner and his wife, Laura, of Onley, John Baumgardner of Accomac, VA; three aunts, Shirley Hardy of Soperton, GA, Sandra Graham and her husband, Gabe, of Rockledge, GA, Pearl Lundy of Vidalia, GA; an uncle, Clifton "Tip" Chester and his wife, Gwen, of High Point, NC; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

A graveside service will be conducted Friday, June 24, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Belle Haven Cemetery with Mr. Kemmie Dize officiating. Family will join friends at Doughty Funeral Home Thursday evening from 5:00 to 7:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Exmore Baptist Church, 11624 Occohannock Road, Exmore, VA 23350.
