Annie Laurie Parks

Mrs. Annie Laurie Parks, 94, wife of the late Stanley V. Parks and a resident of Onancock, passed away Monday, February 25, 2008 at Shore Life Care in Parksley. A native of Tangier, she was the daughter of the late John Wesley Thomas and Emma Crockett Thomas. She was a member of the New Testament Church in Chesconnessex. She is survived by a son, John T. Parks and his wife Virginia of Richmond, Va.; and three grandchildren, Matthew, David, and Andrew Parks. A graveside service will be held from the Fairview Lawn Cemetery on Thursday, February 28th at 12:00 noon with the Rev. Charles W. Parks officiating. Family will join friends at the Doughty Funeral Home Thursday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
