Anna P. Marshall, 95, died July 17, 2007, at Mizpah Health Care Center in Locust Hill, Virginia. She was born on a houseboat in coastal Virginia on February 3, 1912, to Captain Will and Lizzie Parker. A housewife and lifelong resident of the Commonwealth, Mrs. Marshall lived on the Eastern Shore until the late 1980's, when she moved to the Tidewater area. She and her husband, the late Louis W. Marshall, a commercial oysterman, were married for 52 years and had 10 children. Mrs. Marshall was predeceased by four of the children, her parents, and her three brothers, as well as her husband. In addition to the six living children, a number of grand- and great-grandchildren survive her. A memorial service will be held Saturday, July21st at 11:00 AM from the Wilkins-Doughty Funeral Home in Cape Charles with the Rev. Jack D. Pruitt officiating.
