Anna Huber, 98, wife of the late Harry J. Huber and a resident of Vaucluse Shores, Machipongo, VA, passed away on Friday, April 5, 2013. A native of Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Michael Tatanish and the late Anna Bahan Tatanish. Born in Pennsylvania, Anna moved to Atlantic City, NJ where she met and married her husband and raised four children before moving to Florida. She was a devoted wife and mother. During World War II, she did her part in the war effort working as a pipe fitter at Dravo Ship Yard in Wilmington, DE. Anna has lived on the Eastern Shore of Virginia since 2003 and was a member of Johnson's United Methodist Church. She is survived by two daughters, Eleanor M. Burns of Vaucluse Shores, Ann M. Robinson and her husband, William, of Dunnellon, FL; a son, Frederick E. Huber of Picayune, MS; a sister, Mary Tatanish Mastro of Fort Meyers, FL; twelve grandchildren; numerous great grand children; several great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband of 65 years, she was predeceased by a son Ray Huber, a grandson Mark Huber, a great-great granddaughter Kourtney, a sister Katherine Tatanish Stasko and seven brothers, John, Pete, Wasco, Frank, James, George and Alex. A graveside service will be conducted Sunday, April 7, 2013 at 3:30 PM at Johnson's United Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Clarence Bowen officiating.
