Ann Currie Brown

June 8, 1932 — November 30, 2009

Ann Currie Brown, 77, wife of Keast Brown and a resident of Exmore, Virginia, formerly of Pierce City, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 30, 2009 at Riverside Shore Memorial Hospital in Nassawadox, Virginia. A native of Metter, Georgia, she was the daughter of the late Luther L. Currie and the late Essie Hagan Currie. She was a homemaker and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Pierce City. She served in the United States Air Force in the medical field.

Other than her husband of 57 years, she is survived by two daughters, Suzanne Wahl and her husband Scott of Pierce City, MO, Leslie Hess of Springfield, VA; three brothers, Bill Currie and his wife Marleen, and Sam Currie, all of Franktown,VA, Wayne Currie and his wife Gerri of Washington; three grandchildren, Michael and Lauren Hess, and Josh Westra and his wife Tara; two great grandchildren and one on the way, Colton and Luke Westra. She was predeceased by a son, Michael Brown and a son-in-law Bill Hess.
