Amy Kool Mangum

Amy Kool Mangum, 49, cherished wife of William Todd Mangum and a resident of Cape Charles, VA, passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2012, at her home in Butlers Bluff enjoying the sunsets she loved so much. A native of Carmel, IN, she was the daughter of John and Sharon Boes Kool of Portsmouth, VA. She was the owner of Kool Ford in Keller, VA, a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church in Chesapeake, VA, and attended Franktown United Methodist Church. In May 2006, Amy and her family moved to the Eastern Shore pursuing her lifelong dream of building the family business with the acquisition of Kool Ford. In addition to her husband and parents, she is survived by three children, Tara Kay Bogan and her husband, Brian, of Onancock, VA, Zachary Ryan Mangum of Quinby, VA, Noel Christine Mangum of Cape Charles; three sisters, Rene Feyer and her husband, Dick, of Plymouth, NC, Kris Harris and her husband, Jim, of Indianapolis, IN, Cassie Saagman and her husband, Keith, of Detroit, MI; a brother, Ross Kool and his wife, Kim, of Norfolk, VA. A Celebration of Life service will be held Monday, June 11, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Franktown United Methodist Church with the Rev. Alex Joyner officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Riverside Shore Memorial Cancer Center, P. O. Box 17, Nassawadox, VA 23413 or to Hospice of the Eastern Shore, 165 Market Street, Suite 3, Onancock, VA 23417.
