Alwood Lee Shreaves, Jr.

Mr. Alwood Lee Shreaves, Jr., 57, of Exmore, Va. passed away Monday, August 20, 2007 at Shore Memorial Hospital. A native of Exmore, Mr. Shreaves was the son of Grace Bloxom Shreaves and the late Alwood L. Shreaves, Sr. Mr. Shreaves was a retired Distribution District Manager for the Virginian Pilot, a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, and Broadwater Masonic Lodge AF & AM. He was an Eagle Scout and an U.S. Coast Guard veteran. Other than his mother, he is survived by three uncles, Dr. Edward W. Shreaves and his wife, Carmen of Glendale, CA, Sherwood Shreaves and his wife, Mary of Melfa and Daniel S. Bloxom of Smyrna, DE and numerous cousins. Funeral services will be conducted Friday August 24, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the graveside of Belle Haven Cemetery with the Rev. Elizabeth Freund, the Rev. Tammy Estep and the Rev.
