Alma Hawkins

Alma Corbin Hawkins, 96, wife of the late Maurice Hawkins and a resident of Capeville, VA, formerly of Warrenton, VA, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2014 at Heritage Hall Healthcare in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Fauquier County, VA, she was the daughter of the late Lewis Alexander Corbin and the late Nora McIntosh Corbin. She was a member of Full Gospel Church. She is survived by her daughter, Peggy Barbee and her husband, David, of Capeville; five grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband of 67 years, she was predeceased by three sisters and three brothers. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, February 20, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Moser Funeral Home, 233 Broadview Ave, Warrenton, VA with Randy Minter officiating. Interment will follow at Stonewall Memory Gardens, 12004 Lee Highway, Manassas, VA. Family will join friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 5:30 to 8:00. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Heritage Hall Healthcare Activity Fund, P.O. Box 176, Nassawadox, VA 23413.
