Allen Derrick Ferrell

Allen Derrick Ferrell, lovingly known as "Uncle Pat", died tragically on April 17,2011. Pat is predeceased by his father, James Hanes. He leaves behind three beloved children, April Bright, James Derrick Ferrell, Patricia Villar; and three granddaughters, Jayden and Carlee Ferrell and Brynli Villar. Pat was looking forward to his first grandson's arrival in August. Also mourning Pat's passing is his mother, Boots Hanes, brother John Ferrell, sisters, Cissy Christopher and Jaimie Aigner. Uncle Pat will always be loved and remembered with joy by his countless nephews and nieces and extended family. Pat had a passion for life, having friends and loved ones from coast to coast. He always carried a smile and a hug for his friends and would tell jokes to anyone who would listen. He had a wonderful sense of humor that would brighten the day. Pat's greatest gift was telling his family "I love you" every time he spoke with them. A memorial service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 23, 2011 at King of Glory Lutheran Church, 4897 Longhill Road, Williamsburg, VA.
