Mrs. Alice Maud Mapp Parker, 67 of Princess Anne, Maryland formerly of Exmore, Virginia passed away Friday, August 25, 2006 at Manokin Manor in Princess Anne. A native of Exmore, she was the daughter of the late Richard B. Mapp, Sr. and the late Alice Hopkins Mapp. She was a member of the Salisbury Women of the Moose Lodge # 654. She is survived by four children, Pat A. Dukes of Princess Anne, Md., Debbie L. Bailey of Princess Anne, Rick A. Tarr of Pungoteague, Va., Anita Williams of Kilmarnock, Va.; a brother, Richard B. Mapp, Jr. of Belle Haven, Va.; and a sister, Audrey Belote of Quinby, Va.; five grandchildren, Troy Tarr,Steven Davis, Stephanie Larmore, David and Robert Williams and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son, William E. Tarr, Jr. and a sister, Libby Mapp Tarr. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 30th at 4:00 pm from the graveside of Belle Haven Cemetery with the Rev. Jack D. Pruitt officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to a charity of one's choice.
