Alfred Bridgewater

Alfred James Bridgewater, 86, of Nassawadox, VA, formerly of Pungoteague, VA passed away Thursday March 20, 2014 at Heritage Hall HealthCare in Nassawadox, VA. A native of Jersey City, NJ, he was the son of the late Sidney Bridgewater and the late Katrina Steffes-Lai. Mr. Bridgewater was a retired roofer and a U.S. Army veteran. Survivors include a sister, Clara Ackerman of Advance Mills, VA and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services and interment will be held at Holly Memorial Gardens in Charlottesville, VA at a later date.
