Albert Raby Jr.

Albert Raby Jr., 80, husband of the late Judith Marie Raby and a resident of Exmore, VA, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA. A native of Ridgefield Park, NJ, he was the son of the late Albert Raby Sr. and the late Ann Watt Raby. He retired from Ohio Medical and was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church and the Exmore Moose Lodge #683. Mr. Raby is survived by three sons, Tom Raby and his wife, Lisa, of Henryville, PA, James Raby of East Stroudsburg, PA, and George Raby of New Windsor, NY; eight grandchildren, Jessica, Tabatha, Kyrstie, Shawnn, James Jr., Kennie, Keefe, and Reid; and one great-grandson, Tom Tom. Other than his wife, he was predeceased by a daughter, Cheryl Ann Raby. A funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Doughty Funeral Home in Exmore with Father J. Michael Breslin officiating. Family will join friends at the funeral home Sunday from 12:00 to 2:00 PM. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be sent to a charity of one's choice.
